NEW SLR logo

Team SLR is a second-generation racing team led by Scott Lagasse Sr. a former race car driver that competed in a variety of racing series including the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Truck Series as well as winning an SCCA National Championship in 1985 and 1986. Scott's Sports Car tenure netted 3 National Titles, multiple International records as well as setting several world record speeds before moving on to stock car racing.

Today Team SRL provides a driver development program in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli. More than simply a series, it’s an iconic name that carries a legacy and authenticity spanning over 50 years of road racing heritage. Today the Trans Am Race Company is charged with stewardship of that legacy, working every day to foster a Trans Am that not only honors its lengthy history but boldly races towards a brighter future. Instilling new ideas while fostering exciting competition for both fans and teams alike while developing organic, sustainable growth.

"Connor is a smart young man, he listens well and is all business at the track.  He was quick to learn the track, learn the car, and the many specifics needed to be fast in these cars.  It is a lot to learn all at the same time.  Connor has true talent, a sharp thought process and the work ethic it takes to be a really good race driver."
